Events and film production
Silent generator for events, stage and film production
At a festival or on a film set, the generator is the problem everyone can hear. The sound creeps into recordings, and the audience notices it directly. A photovoltaic unit with a battery delivers the same power without a single decibel.
Typical load in this field:80 kWh/day
The situation today
- Noise bleeding into microphones and bothering the audience
- Exhaust smell in catering and audience areas
- Fuel tanks and jerrycans inside perimeters holding thousands of people
- Sponsors and authorities asking for proof of sustainability
With a mobile unit
- Completely silent operation in sensitive areas
- Zero risk of fuel spills on grass or into water
- Communicable as a sustainability element of the event
- Rented for the exact duration of the event, with delivery and collection
Why diesel generator noise ruins an event
On a stage, the diesel engine bass sound gets straight into microphones and audience perception. It does not matter if music is great, scenography is beautiful — the sound of a generator pulls you back. In film production, an hour of recordings with engine noise in the background is hours of extra editing work. Simply clean sound makes the difference between a professional event and an improvisation.
What power without noise and without risk means for crowds
A solar unit makes no noise, emits no fumes and has no fuel for people to come into contact with or children to encounter. Events are usually in locations without power, and that is exactly the problem a solar unit solves. Stable energy, quiet, and the audience does not think about it, they concentrate on what matters.
Sustainability as a communicable element of the event
Sponsors and authorities increasingly ask for proof that an event is responsible. A solar generator is not just a technical choice, it is part of the event narrative. You can communicate that energy comes from solar panels, that there was no fuel and that your event matters for the environment.
Frequently asked questions
How many hours does a solar unit last on stage time?
It depends on size and event length. A typical summer evening event of 6-8 hours is easily covered. In winter or for longer events we recommend a consultation to size exactly.
Can I use it in the rain?
In rain the sun does not produce, but the battery holds. If the event is multi-day in cloudy conditions, we recommend a diesel backup genset for safety, but in good weather only sun is needed.
How is a solar unit transported for an event?
It comes on a trailer, deploys on site in 30 minutes, sets up in 15. On departure, reverse: 15 minutes of folding, 30 minutes of transport. Transport is included in the rental package.
Can I use it indoors?
Not directly. Panels need sun, but in a hall you can bring power from outside through cables. We recommend consulting your team to designate the best location.
