Frequently asked questions

How long does it run without sun?

At an 80 W load the runtime is around 4 days. The real figure depends on the power of the connected cameras and equipment and on exposure conditions.

Which cameras can I connect?

Any IP camera, PTZ unit or NVR powered at 12, 24 or 48 V, as well as PoE cameras. The camera mount is ready for installation and you choose the video hardware.

Can it be used in winter?

Yes. The system operates from −35 to +60 °C, so it suits both winter sites and very hot summers.

How is it transported and towed?

On its own single-axle trailer, with a 2" ball or 3" ring hitch and an electric brake. It also has forklift pockets for moves around a site.

Does it need a grid connection or a power permit?

No. As a fully autonomous, solar-powered system it needs no mains connection.
